
Bangor Christmas Festival of Lights Parade Set for Saturday
Bundle up, grab some cocoa, and get ready for a day full of sparkle and holiday cheer, this Saturday!
If you’re ever in Bangor during the holiday season, the Annual Festival of Lights Parade is a must-see—it’s one of those events that brings the whole community together in the best way.
Every year, Downtown Bangor transforms into a winter wonderland, with twinkling lights, festive music, and floats decked out in holiday themes from local businesses, schools, and organizations.
People line the streets with hot cocoa in hand, wrapped in scarves and mittens, waving at the passing floats and performers. It is the perfect mix of small-town charm and big holiday spirit.
Whether you’ve been going for years or it’s your first time, there’s something special about being there, surrounded by lights, laughter, and a whole lot of holiday cheer.
The Rotary Club of Bangor, has announced that annual Festival of Lights parade will be held this Saturday, December 6th, starting at 4:30PM.
This years theme couldn't come a better time "Unite for Good" is the perfect vibe and feeling for the holiday season.

The parade will start at the intersection of State/Exchange streets in Bangor, the route then turns left on State Street and proceeds to the intersection of Main/State/Hammond. It then turns left onto Main Street and proceeds up Main Street, to the intersection of Main/Water Street, and continues to the intersection of Water/Washington Street. The parade will end at the intersection of Water and Washington Streets.
Be sure to look for all the Townsquare Media station vehicles along the parade route that afternoon!
The Bangor Rotary will present trophies in seven categories plus the Best Overall Entry award.
