Could Maine Get a Dave & Buster’s? Here’s What It Would Take

This would be a much needed kick in the butt for Bangor!

As we approach Super Sunday, an idea came to mind that Maine could really use something fun to make these harsh winter months a little more bearable!

Things are getting a little stale here in the Bangor area when it comes to places to have some fun, but one potential option comes to mind, that would make a lot of people from 8-80, very happy. And there is an easy way to make your voice heard, but we will get to that in a minute.

Dave & Buster's is an American restaurant and entertainment chain that combines dining, drinks, and interactive entertainment, for kids of all ages.

If you think about it, it would be the perfect business to give a much needed jolt to the Bangor Mall area.

Dave & Buster's has over 160 locations across the United States and Canada, but yet again, none here in the State of Maine.

If you wanted to visit a location, there are 3 of them in Massachusetts, in Braintree, Woburn, and Natick. There is also one in Manchester, New Hampshire.

What is it about Dave & Busters, that is so appealing? There are lots of examples.

• A Restaurant and Bar: They serve up American-style cuisine, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers, along with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and wine.
• Arcade Games: Classic and modern arcade games, including video games, pinball machines, and ticket-redemption games.
• Entertainment: Virtual reality experiences, Escape rooms, Sports bars with live events and broadcasts, Trivia nights and events

Overall, Dave & Buster's offers a unique blend of food, drinks, and entertainment, making it a popular destination for socializing, relaxation, and fun, which we could use around here!
