There is a High Wind Warning in effect for Downeast Maine from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday December 12th. There are potential wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour tonight.

Healthy Acadia at 24 Church Street in Ellsworth is open as a warming center serving people from Hancock and Washington counties. They are open seven nights a week from 4 pm to 6:30 am, December 1st through April 30th. The overnight warming center offers a safe, warm space for housing insecure community members in Hancock and Washington counties. Meals, snacks, and beverages are available.
