Mako is the SPCA of Hancock County’s Pet of the Week
Do you have room in your home and heart for Mako? He's the SPCA of Hancock County's Pet of the Week!
Mako, is a whirlwind of energy who’s ready to take on the world! This 2-year-old white shepherd-husky mix (give or take a few wild guesses) is a non-stop, go-go-go machine. His motto? "Why sit when you can zoom?" Mako has enough energy to power a small city - and he's just getting started. Mako hasn’t always been treated the right way, but you wouldn’t guess that based on how loving and goofy he is.
Now we’re not going to lie…Mako is very pretty, but don’t let his good looks fool you - he is a LOT. He can be like a pogo stick with a mind of its own, constantly bouncing from one thing to the next. When meeting new people, he wears a muzzle - not because of aggression, but because of excitement. He communicates his excitement with his mouth, and a muzzle helps reduce the risk of him grabbing or nipping during moments of excitement, which can be especially useful when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations.
Mako needs an adopter who’s ready to keep up with his turbo-charged personality. He needs someone experienced who can channel all that energy and keep him on track. He’s big, he’s mouthy, and he’s got a heart of gold... that you’ll probably never get to see because he’s always moving too fast. Ready to add a little chaos to your life? Come meet Mako and get ready for the ride of your life!
