MDI Volleyball Beats Ellsworth 3-1

The MDI Volleyball Team beat Ellsworth on Monday, September 30th 3-1 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth. The individual set scores were 23-25, 25-22, 25-18 and 25-22.

MDI Stat Leaders included

  • Lauren Davis: 12 kills, 2 aces, 18 digs, 1 block assist
  • Lexi Tozier: 8 kills, 4 aces, 17 digs
  • Lily Byer: 18 assists, 1 kill, 1 ace, 7 digs
  • Alexis Jones: 4 kills, 4 aces, 2 digs, 2 block solos, 2 block assists
  • Daley Foss: 5 kills, 1 assist, 19 digs, 1 block assist

Ellsworth Stat Leaders included

  • Jordin Mann: 16 assists and 7 digs
  • Brielle Grindle: 5 aces, 10 kills, 26 service receptions and 13 digs
  • Sophie Beal: 2 aces, 8 kills 2 blocks and 2 digs
  • Shanteena Griffiths: 4 aces, 9 kills, 12 service receptions and 23 digs
  • Olivia Snow: 1 kill, 3 blocks and 2 digs.

The Ellsworth JV Team defeated Ellsworth 3-0. Set scores were 25-12, 25-16 and 17-15

  • Bixby Hawkins: 2 kills, 1 aces, 2 digs
  • Samantha Parkin: 3 aces

The MDI First Team won 2-1 with set scores 25-16, 23-25, 15-4

  • Blake Thieken: 2 assists, 3 aces
  • Lily Walton: 7 aces, 3 digs
