Red Sox Homer 4 Times with Abreu Homering Twice and Durbin Hitting Grand Slam Routing Chicago 14-2 [VIDEO]

Fenway Park was a rocking, fun place on Tuesday night, August 4th, as the Red Sox returned to Fenway, and routed the Chicago White So 14-2, as they homered 4 times.

In the 1st inning the Red Sox sent 9 players to the plate and scored 6 runs. Caleb Durbin hit a grand slam and then Jarren Duran went back-to-back with a solo home run.

Durbin finished the night 2-3. His homer was his 11th of the season. Druan was 2-4 also, and his homer was the 15th of the season.

Wilyer Abreu homer twice for the 3rd time this year, hitting solo homers in the 5th and 8th innings. He now has 19 on the season.

Andruw Monasterio was 2-4 driving in 2 runs.

Patrick Sandoval picked up his 1st win since May 7th, 2024, pitching into the 6th inning. He allowed 5 hits and 2 runs, striking out 5 and walking 4.

Newly acquired Erik Miller (from the Giants for Marcelo Mayer) made his Red Sox debut striking out the batter he faced for the 3rd out in the 6th inning. Brayan Bello earned his 1st career save, pitching the final 3 innings holding the White Sox hitless and striking out 2.
