Saturday, December 14th is Wreaths Across America Day, and a contingent of volunteers will be laying wreaths on the graves of veterans at Woodbine Cemetery in Ellsworth.

They will be laying 1200 wreaths. It is a solemn process. A volunteer reads the name of the veteran out-loud, before gently placing the wreath on the grave.

There will be a brief ceremony at Noon, before the laying of the wreaths. Refreshments will be available.  The public is invited to come and join the group in the laying of wreaths.
