Celebrate This Sizzlin’s Summer In Hermon Next Weekend!
Things are heating up in Hermon as preparations are made to celebrate over 20 years of hosting Summer Sizzlers!
Started by former Hermon Parks and Recreation Director Scott Perkins in 2005 as a way to bring the community together, current Director Lindsey Ouellette has kept the tradition going, as the event has grown, year after year.

Ouellette says this year's Summer Sizzler events will take place at the Patricia A. Duran School on the Billings Road on Saturday, August 15th.
"The Summer Sizzler is a full day of family-friendly activities, beginning with a Slime Run and 5K/10K Road Race in the morning and continuing throughout the day with a car show, 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, carnival games, face painting, local vendors, food trucks, circus performances, a dance performance, a community BBQ, cornhole tournament, free Darling's Ice Cream, and ending with fireworks at 8:45 p.m."
The Slime Race is scheduled for 8 AM, with the Road Race to follow at 8:30 AM.

"We're especially excited about our Hermon Car Show, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (vehicle registration begins at 8:00 a.m.). The show is open to all vehicles, with a $10 registration fee, free admission for spectators, trophies for Best in Show and the Top 10 vehicles, and food trucks on-site."
